Escape by Hannah Jayne

cover59545-medium

Fletcher and Adam walk into the woods but only one comes out alive. When Fletcher  and Adam are found by police chef’s daughter Avery, she is pulled into the mystery. Avery risks not obeying her father to help her classmate, Fletcher to find out what happened to Adam.

The story is set in a small town where nothing ever happens. The reader is pulled into the story immediately, following Avery’s search for the boys and finding Fletcher after going off the path. The story moves rather quickly and keeps the reader wondering what happened to Adam. The interaction between Fletcher and Avery revealed Avery to be a strong character. If you like stories with strong character development this story is probably not for you. If a quick read with a typical psychological thriller plot, is your cup of tea, the Escape will provide you with that comfortable read.

I received this e-Arc from NetGalley and Sourcebooks Fire in exchange for an honest review.
