Ghost Knight

Ghost Knight by Cornelia Funke

Eleven-year-old Jon Whitcroft has been banished to a boarding school in Salisbury. He has been separated from him mom and her new husband who he detests. Jon’s first few days at this new boarding school are rather boring until he meets a ghost knight and a girl at school who spices things up. Ella, his new friend, has a thirst for adventure and help Jon on his quest for the ghost knight.

This book was a quick and fun read. The action moves fast and keeps the reader wondering what will be happening around the corner. It is definitely a book for the tween set who loves adventure and the supernatural. The story reveals the friendship between Jon and Ella which makes this book for both boys and girls alike. Although, this is a ghost story of sort, it is a sweet read with no scary aspects  like some supernatural books.

Note: I received a copy of this book from the publisher, Little Brown.
