Love on Assignment

Twenty-two year old Charlotte Hale takes care of her paralyzed sister and elderly aunt. She needs her job and has always inspired to be a journalist. Her boss at the newspaper where she works has given her a chance of a life time, to go undercover to expose a professor. While on this undercover assignment, she learns that the professor is not bad and that her boss may have it in for him. She not only has to struggle with what is right and wrong with pursuing her story but the developing feelings she has for the professor and his family.

This book was promoted as a historical fiction book but could have been set in current time. It is a cute love story with the struggle between right and wrong. I enjoyed it as a light read. Although this is in a series, I had not read the first one. It can be read as a stand alone. If you like cozy reads and light romances this book is for you.

Note: I received a copy of the book from Goodreads giveaway.
