The Butterfly Effect

I received a review copy of  the book, The Butterfly Effect by Andy Andrews from Thomas Nelson. This book is considered a gift book and is a small and quick read. I found the story thought- provoking and interesting. Mr. Andrews starts with the hypothesis of Edward Lorenz. Mr. Lorenz created his hypothesis in 1963.  The hypothesis, known as the butterfly effect, is basically that when a butterfly flaps his wings it sets molecules out into the wind which can create more wind and molecules to move.

Mr. Andrews uses an example from the Civil War to illustrate this hypothesis. I was read the example with great interest since I love that period of our history. The book leaves you thinking about the impact that you have on this earth both by your movements and statements that you make. I highly recommend this book to anyone who feels that what they do does not matter to anyone but themselves.
